Join us for an immersive, hands-on training in sound facilitation led by Alexandre Tannous. This intensive program is designed for students, practitioners, and professionals seeking serious technical development, refined listening skills, and confident group facilitation.
The group is intentionally small to ensure direct mentorship, meaningful feedback, and substantial practicum. This is not observation-based learning — participants actively train each day with sustained hands-on experience.
Throughout the week, participants will work extensively with a large collection of sound meditation instruments, including gongs and singing bowls. In-depth workshops will focus on individual instruments — particularly the gong — covering striking technique, tonal control, dynamic layering, pacing, silence, and how to structure a complete and cohesive sound meditation. Emphasis is placed on both technical mastery and the ability to confidently facilitate group experiences.
Core facilitation training includes:
• Structuring and holding a group container
• Reading group dynamics and adjusting in real time
• Understanding resonance, dissonance, and vibrational layering
• Developing presence, pacing, and transitions
• Ethical considerations in group facilitation
Participants will facilitate sessions, receive feedback, and build real-world experience leading groups with clarity and intention.
The training takes place in Shohola, Pennsylvania, under two hours from New York City. The property includes several houses for accommodation, a sauna, and both indoor and outdoor spaces that support focus and integration between sessions.
Chef-curated meals will be shared throughout the intensive. Trained facilitators will assist during breakout sessions and continue to support participants throughout the optional residency, offering guidance and mentorship as skills deepen through continued practice.

The program fee, including shared accommodation and meals, is $3,900.
